Yuru-cha
SAIAN Ansyu (The host of SAIAN tea ceremony room) inquires into contemporary ways of Cha-no-yu: Japanese tea ceremony and into the art of drinking to savour time and space from different points of approach.
She calls these Yuru-cha, at the same time as she respects the spirit of traditional Cha-no-yu. In 2020, online Yuru-cha sessions started for sharing the moment with matcha and savouring the time in own place. It is not the same feeling as real sessions in SAIAN tea ceremony room, but there are also interesting things from the differences. Online private Lessons 1) Usucha Hakobi Temae (part) which is the basic procedure for light matcha (30min) 2) Wari-geiko which helps a smooth Usucha Hakobi Temae (15min) by Zoom (Please see the Lesson page) Shall we try to feel the Yuru-cha little by little? |
